2. Can I buy Traveler’s Checks from Shinhan Bank America?

Yes, please visit your Nearest Branch Office if you are interested in purchasing the checks. The purchasing cost is 1% of the amount of the checks.

3. What is Overdraft Fee?

Overdraft fee is the amount charged for each item presented against insufficient funds. The exact amount varies depending on the account type and the state your account opened in.

Initial deposit fee of $100 will apply.

5. What should I do if I lost my safe deposit box key?

You will have to request a new key if you need an immediate access to your safe deposit box. (In this event, your initial deposit fee of $100 will not be refundable.)

Each box is equipped with a double lock, consisting of a guard key and a customer’s key. In other words, the box won’t be able to open even if someone found your box key.
